Birthday Goodies

The bunny turns 4 this coming Monday! Can you believe it?! Four.Years.Old.

Four years fly by way too fast for my liking, let me tell you.

This year, we are playing it "low key" as far as birthday celebrations go.

But, the baking will never be low key for me.

I am baking a birthday cake that is the bunny's request: white cake with blueberries and strawberries, mini brownies (for my Dad who shares the bunny's birthday and loves chocolate) and chocolate cupcakes for a birthday lunch that we are hosting for a good friend of ours who has her birthday in March as well and for the bunny's first friend sleepover (she's having one friend sleep over on Saturday night). IF there is time, the bunny and I will also bake my Dad a chocolate chip cookie (that's right--one HUGE chocolate chip cookie--because they are his favourite!
