MTM Needs Some Comfort Food!

What's better than soup and baking for some comfort food?

We had my friend, Heather's Leek and Potato Soup for dinner two nights ago.

AND the bunny and I made my sister's Amazing Banana Muffins yesterday morning and Saltine Delight yesterday afternoon.

I have never posted Saltine Delight, so I will. It is stinkin' easy and it doesn't sound too impressive, but SciFi Dad calls it heroin.

Saltine Delight

Directions:
Melt 1 cup of butter and 1 cup of brown sugar in a pot and boil on low for 3 minutes.
Meanwhile, line a cookie sheet with saltine crackers. When sugar mixture has boiled, pour over top of saltines and bake for 5 minutes at 375 degrees. Pull out of oven and spread a package of chocolate chips over top. When the chocolate chips have melted, spread them and put cookie sheet in the fridge to cool.
Break into pieces and enjoy!

I've heard of this, but we don't have saltines here, so I can't make it. What do they taste like, I'll see if I can find something like it.

I love to eat this stuff. However I have tried making it twice and it just doesn't turn out. We call this Cracker Crack as it is so addicting.
